Our Treatments
Advanced Endodontics
Endodontic therapy, also known as root canal treatment, is a procedure used to repair and save a tooth. Endodontic therapy is needed when decay reaches the nerve of the tooth, in response to dental trauma, if a tooth becomes painful beyond self-repair, or sometimes when a post is needed for support. We will remove the dead nerve from the tooth and then seal it off to prevent another infection or abscess from forming around the tooth. If the nerve is not removed the infection will continue to spread deeper into your gums, often causing swelling, pain, and discomfort. The treatment area will be completely numb for these procedure, no need to worry!
Advanced Endodontics refers to the latest equipment that we use to clean, shape, and fill the root canal system. Our system allows us to seal teeth with a higher rate of success than traditional treatments.
Implant Restoration
Dental Implants are titanium posts inserted surgically into the jaw bone under the gums. Once the post is in place your dentist will attach the artificial tooth to it. Implants are permanent because the titanium posts fuse to your jaw bone, making them the most reliable way of replacing missing teeth. Most people cannot use dentures or bridges due to unique complications, so implants are the best alternative. Due to the high quality of the customized building materials, your implants should last a lifetime. Implants are one of the most common solutions to having missing teeth replaced and are vary safe and easy to install. Call today if you have any questions about our process and your options.
Cosmetic Dentistry
A beautiful smile is one of the most sought after features in cosmetic medicine. People from all backgrounds and professions want a white, straight smile, and we can help make it a reality. Whether through minor adjustments or major changes, cosmetic dentistry aims to help people feel good about the way their teeth look. There are many procedures that can improve your teeth and correct issues such as discoloration, chips, gaps, or irregularities. Common options include bonding, veneers, bleaching, reshaping, straightening with Invisalign, and crowns. In addition to cosmetic improvements, these procedures can help solve other oral problems as well.
Oral Surgery
An extraction is performed to remove a tooth, whether because of disease, crowding, or damage. When extractions are required, the area around the tooth will be numbed and your dentist will remove the tooth. A small amount of bleeding is normal, as your mouth will replace the removed tooth root by forming a blood clot in the area. Caring for your mouth after an extraction is very important. Your dentist will outline how you should care for the area of the extraction. It is important to allow your mouth time to heal; so avoid activities like smoking, drinking through a straw, or eating foods that may aggravate the area.
Pain Management
Dental Pain is no joke. There are several causes: cavities, pulpitis (sick tooth nerve), bruxism (grinding), erosion, fractured teeth, gingival (gum) irritation, etc.
For severe pain, over the counter medications such as ibuprofen (Advil) or acetaminophen (Tylenol) are usually a good place to start. Be sure to follow the directions on the bottle and any ongoing orders from your physicians.
Contact us as soon as possible to set up an appointment, and we will get you feeling better again soon!
Crown & Bridge
A tooth can lose its normal shape and size for a variety of reasons. A crown covers your tooth to help restore its original shape and size. Crowns can also be used to make teeth stronger and look better. Crowns have a variety of uses. In some cases that require a large filling, there isn’t enough tooth remaining to keep the filling in place. A crown can strengthen the tooth and hold the filling. Crowns can also protect teeth that are weak, or help fix ones that are broken. Discolored or misshapened teeth can be covered by a crown, as can dental implants.
Dental bridges are a great way to close or literally “bridge” the gap in between missing teeth. A dental bridge is composed of two or more dental crowns held into place with an anchor tooth in the center. Dental bridges match the color of your natural teeth to provide you with a natural-looking smile.
Crowns and Bridges can be made from several different materials including: Zirconia, Nobel Metals, Porcelains. Overall we have about 8 Different combinations of materials we use to restore form and function of your teeth; all with the overall goal of giving you beautiful and long lasting restorations.
